The annual Avalon Harbor Underwater Cleanup
The annual Avalon Harbor Underwater Cleanup is coming up on Feb. 20. It’s a great excuse to get your dive gear out of the locker and spend the day with a bunch of fun people. It’s the only day of the year that the Avalon Harbor is open to divers. Donations benefit the Catalina Conservancy’s ocean conservation projects and the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber. It’s a great way to spend a day, in Avalon with a bunch of divers talking about diving. And who doesn’t like finding stuff underwater, even if it is junk?
