Michael is a Marine Surveyor (surveys boats, yachts, and cargo containers). Michael served 8 years with the US Coast Guard and was a mechanic, engineer, and project manager before entering the exciting and stressful world of self-employment.
Cynde is a Web Content Producer and Website Designer by day, and in her spare time is a PWC Coxswain for the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Dana Point California, an avid Scuba Diver and boater. She is also on the Board of Directors for Bonaire Talk Community Inc., a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping children and animals (both land and sea) by raising funds to help worthy projects such as Wounded Warriors, Hoppner Stitching (home for boys), Donkey Sanctuary on Bonaire, the Animal Shelter on Bonaire, The Turtle Foundation on Bonaire, and many more.
Michael and Cynde grew up boating and have a passion and love for water and the ocean. “There are a lot of amazing islands and destinations out there, and even more amazing people. If we can make even a small difference in the world it worth the effort.”

Don’t forget the float plan.
It doesn’t matter if you are taking your 100’ yacht to Catalina or paddling your board to San Clemente, it’s a really good idea to leave a Float Plan with a reliable person who will contact the Coast Guard if you don’t come back. I hope we all have someone who cares enough if we come back or not. And don’t forget to check in if your plans change or when you get back. Our friends at the Coast Guard Auxiliary provide a helpful form at: www.floatplancentral.org/
